The Overseas Students Ombudsman investigates complaints about problems that overseas students have with private education and training in Australia.

Complaints about TASC services and/or processes can be made by writing to us at:

All complaints will be investigated and you will be informed of the outcomes of those investigations.

If you wish to appeal a decision of the Executive Officer, under the provisions of the Tasmanian Qualifications Act 2003 an education provider aggrieved by the refusal of the Executive Officer to grant:
  1. registration of the education provider or

  2. registration of an education service (course)
may apply to the Magistrates Court (Administrative Appeals Division) for a review of that refusal.
