Subject: Accreditation of HPT110109 Hospitality - Introduction. ACTION: feedback sought

From: mike.jenkins@tqa.tas.gov.au

Date: June 11, 2010

The accreditation of Hospitality - Introduction expires on 31 December this year. The course was accredited at the end of 2008 for a two year period only in order to allow for an investigation of its relationship to VET hospitality qualifications. This investigation has now been completed and the Authority has determined that the Hospitality - Introductory course is sufficiently different from the VET course for it to be able to be submitted for accreditation. While we have no indication that the course needs to be changed in any significant way, we wish to give teachers the opportunity to identify any amendments they would like considered.

If you would like to suggest changes to the course please email:

We wish to finalise the course accreditation submission by the 15 July so any comments could be taken into account up until Friday 9th July.
