Subject: Housing & Design: proposed course, comments invited

From: mike.jenkins@tqa.tas.gov.au

Date: May 2, 2012

To: TQA Co-ordinators, teachers of Housing and Design, and other interested parties.

The TQA has received a proposed Housing and Design TQA level 3 course to replace that expiring on 31 December 2012.

The proposed course document is available at the TQA website page:

You are invited to comment on the following issues:
* are there any significant impediments to your organisation delivering this course if it wished to do so?
* if your organisation were to deliver this course, are there any special transition arrangements needed for students in existing courses?
* is there any significant item of learning that should be removed from/added to the course?
* are there any reasons the Authority should consider sufficient grounds for refusing to accredit this course?

Please note that this invitation for comment is part of the accreditation process and comments need to address one or more of the issues noted above. This is not part of the course development process as that stage is now complete.

Comments can be emailed to me, by 16 May 2012.

Dr Mike Jenkins Liaison and Development Officer TQA
